Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Offsite is a dating app for working adults in India; minors are not allowed under any circumstances, and use by a minor is a violation of these Terms and Indian law.

You must sign up with your own real name, age, and a recent photo of yourself. One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

In addition to Indian law (including the IT Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the IT Rules, 2021), you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or send unwanted sexual content to anyone.
• Upload nudity, sexually explicit imagery, obscene material, violent imagery, or photos of anyone who has not consented — including anything that would be an offence under Sections 67, 67A or 67B of the IT Act, 2000.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your age, identity, caste, religion, or affiliation.
• Use Offsite for prostitution, escorting, sugar arrangements, paid dating, trafficking, or any activity prohibited by the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
• Post content that is defamatory, communally or racially inflammatory, hateful, or that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, or public order.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automation against Offsite or its users.
• Collect other users' personal information for any purpose outside of getting to know them on the app.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security or content controls.

You keep ownership of the photos, bio, and messages you upload. You grant Sparkk a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely so the app can work — for example, showing your profile to potential matches and delivering your messages.

You're responsible for the content you post. Uploaded photos are reviewed automatically for safety before they go live; anything unsafe is rejected and deleted from storage. As an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000, we may remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms or Indian law, and we will comply with lawful orders from Indian courts and government authorities.

We can suspend or remove any account that breaks these Terms, threatens the safety of the community, or is reported for abuse. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your profile, photos, swipes, matches, and messages.

Offsite is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee you'll find a match, that other users are exactly who they say they are, or that the service will always be available without interruption. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Sparkk's liability arising out of your use of Offsite is limited to any amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free app, is zero).

Use good judgement when meeting people — meet in a public place, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, dial 112 (India's emergency number), or the women's helpline 1091.

In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021, our Grievance Officer for India is:

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your statutory rights as a consumer, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Offsite shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may update these Terms as the app and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Offsite after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
